take it to the local (big truck)tire shop.. I fought with my deuce rims all day once.. then found out the tire shop would break them down for $10 each.. money WELL spent in my book..
That falls on my weekend off! so count me in! I should be there wed-sun, and the girlfriend fri-sun.. I'll bring the command camper(as always), and my "new" CUCV M1009.. Cant wait!!
I know for a fact that Matt will love that truck like no other, and there could not have been a better home for it to go to! I have never seen Matt as happy as I did yesterday at the parade! and If you cant tell from the pics, this is a GORGEOUS truck, inside and out, as well as mechanically...
mine did this, and i welded a "stop bar" across the end to keep the dog bone from popping off again, this is a APPROVED temp fix per the M939 TM's.. if you need pics, let me know, and i will get pics in the morning..
welcome aboard! I assure you, the trailer is just the beginning! awesome group of people here, just remember to search before posting a new thread.. they get cranky about that 'round here sometimes..
I thought about this with my deuce.. a allison AT545 with 395s would be able to maintain 55mph.. but the length might be a problem.. the tranny in a deuce is pretty short.. if you need measurements from a AT545 let me know, I have one that i removed from a international in flavor of a eaton/fuller..
In response to some PM's and questions I have gotten, the PUBLIC is allowed in on Friday and Saturday, Thursday is reserved for MVPA members, BUT, if you show up Thursday as a NON member, you more then likely won't have a problem getting in.. Any questions, my cell is 812-987-6559
