ask 101coolcars - his shop has DONE this conversion - OK, I wasn't too hep on the pineapple grenade shift knob - but other than that, it was way kewl
he can answer this question - drop him an email or PM him
two or three moth balls in her blue oval gas tank might do the trick, but that's an OLD trick and probably doesn't work...
metal flake's down the intake? nah, that probably wouldn't work either
lot of old school tricks NO ONE thinks of these days
Jimmy,
No offense brother, but this sounds EXACTLY like what harley riders told their old ladies the first time THEY SAID they wanted a PINK HARLEY. And I KNOW this IS exactly what men told women SHOOTERS when they said they wanted a pink weapon.
Having said that, my wife has a set of pink...
that's a very true and some what ugly story...
The Phoenix: Ted Nugent Bronco
Season: 5 | Episode: 3
There is a saying that for every good side of something , there's also a dark side. Today on GEARZ, Stacey goes there...
WHY is the current owner selling?
Seems they have replaced/repaired most of the systems you attach TO the engine. Granted you state hi miles, but this diesel engine should get well over 200k miles if properly maintained.
If the body is straight with no rust, about the only issues I see for...
you REALLY need to read this article about the 6.2 and the 6.5 being used in land speed record attempts...
it puts the kibosh on the old myth that the 6.2 is a weak motor...
6.5L Diesel Land Speed Truck, Bonneville Salt Flats, 6.5L Diesel
did the military tell a bunch of wet behind the ears...
You will find that you are going to have problems with the head lights
specifically going from high to low beam
your CUCV uses one headlight with both functions in one light and the 91 uses two- the wiring is NOT compatible that I am aware of. they made some kind of change
I will hope you...
OH GREAT, I've got to do eight of them
M1009 - 2
M1028A2 - 2
91 Suburban - 4 (ouch)
and I'll probably just purchase full replacement pin assemblies... better to replace them all now and not worry about it later...
that way, I have spares, JUST IN CASE ...
thanx so much for this one, cause...
my ONLY question is WHY TWIN THREE INCH PIPES? that's a little more than one inch larger per pipe, which will flow a lot more air out...
isn't that pretty much overkill? have you increased the incoming airflow? these engines are pretty much a big air pump...
not criticizing, but I think you...
NO
THESE ARE TERRIBLE TRUCKS
I mean, WHY would you want a vehicle that's tough as nails
you aren't going to be hard on your first vehicle are you? you ARE a responsible adult that can spend THOUSANDS of dollars buying a brand new SHELBY and is willing to hock your soul just to impress girls...
yeah, you could use this to paint your weapons...
that's a Howa in the foreground I built up in gunsmithing school - I painted it four colors of blue over a gray primer
the one in the rear is a Chinese M14 that I also rebuilt - I just used the receiver - replaced everything else using USGI...
this came about when a member ask me where to get the paint to spray paint the vinyl in our trucks... I got MINE at an auto paint supply store in Denver... but I came across them in Home Depot - the exact units I bought for WAY more money - with out further ado, here is that PM I sent...
shhh... you can also pull them from bucket seats out of Suburban models of that vintage as well but you didn't hear it from me
I just wish we could get them from LMC
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT
always wanted to do the same idea, only put an M1010 ambulance box on the back... then use it to tow a MKT that I would swap the axle over to a civi one with electric brakes
that would make a BITCHIN cookin setup
LOVE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
will be watching with...
that's one of the best little cheat I've seen around here for YEARS... and you even used pictures... we love pictures
thank you Onestar
Oh, and welcome...
cliffyp,
I'm pretty sure it's something like this little job from Harbor Freight. I've got one on my M1028A2 - just bolts right up. You might need to enlarge the holes if you use large bolts. I did.
