    Losing Brake Pedal Pressure

The airpack was pretty bad.. I posted my rebuild with lots and lots of pics.. here is the link http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/82753-my-airpack-rebuild-photos.html I think I will do the M/C either way, the rebuild kit is cheap and after doing the airpack this should be a piece of cake.. Just...

    Losing Brake Pedal Pressure

Ok, now back to my issue, just got out from under the truck.. The moron who rebuilt the Airpack didn't tighten the nut enough for the brake sensor.. yeah that's me.. So half the issue fixed.. The pedal does come up rather quickly now so I can pump the brakes again. Now for the other half of the...

    Losing Brake Pedal Pressure

I did bleed real well, used Dot 3 (which was in the truck already) and I plan on bleeding at least 1x per year.. Perhaps there is still some air caught in the line somewhere..

    Losing Brake Pedal Pressure

The wheel cylinders are a ? as I have not yet opened up the hubs to take a peek.. I assume they could also probably be due for a rebuild. The M/C rebuild kit is cheap so I think I will just go ahead with that and see how it goes. I do not see any fluid leaking out anywhere.. anymore that is...

    Losing Brake Pedal Pressure

So I finished the Airpack rebuild and the brakes do work.. Adjusted the rears so they are not dragging anymore. So now I slowly lose the pressure in the brake pedal if let's say I am going down a long hill. Even if I am sitting at a stop sign it slowly goes to the floor. The pedal itself...

    The Untouchable rebuild

Saw the pic before the post.. I assume you have done something different as you have it pegged at about 27-28prm which is above redline for a normal deuce.. Nice AR (I assume) hanging there which is what first caught my eye..

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

Yeah it springs back all the way back up but if I press down then it goes back down to just above where it was.. with a little time it comes back up.. This eve, I drove it around then backed down the driveway toward the bottom I was out of pedal and out of brakes... Threw it into 2nd to slow it...

    Thinking about replacing the seats

Ok, so I guess they are just mounted directly to the frame and not on top of the spring or air ride mechanism. Thanks.

    Thinking about replacing the seats

Wreckerman, I have seen you post about those dodge neon seats before. Are those bolted to the floor or on top of the spring or air ride frame? Definitely in the future upgrades but not for a while.. Thanks!

So I got my first M105A2 Trailer today! Yeah! I purchased it from the same guy I bought my Deuce from. Great guy, suggested he sign up here on SS as he also has a deuce and could learn allot from this site as I have. Anyway back to the recovery. I towed it home 50 miles with my Navigator...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

So now that The rears aren't dragging I am loosing some pressure in the brake pedal. Let's say I am coming to a stop sign and have by foot on the brake while downshifting.. The brake pedal very slowly goes down to the floor. It also takes some time before coming all the way back up. From what...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

cattlerepairman, thanks for the tip, I adjusted the rears today.. they were definitely dragging.. ALLOT!! I did the quick adjustment on the top two bolts. Now that I know it was just an adjustment issue I will fine-tune with with the bottom bolts as in the TM. Thanks again! I was able to get...
