If David doesn't have it in stock he will usually locate most parts as he picks up more mules. He's always come through.

    Hi from the Florida Keys

Welcome! I've fished out of Marathon the past 11 years, usually stayed in Marathon or over on Key Colony. Good relaxing times. Last few years I've seen a deuce parked over at the airport, been wondering who the owner is. I love your island! -Whitey

Another from Peoples Republic of MD

Welcome comrad! There have been Deuces for sale off and on the past few years in Mt. Airy. They have been parked at the BP station parking lot, not sure who was selling them. There's also a member of the WAC B&G MVT named Ollie who drives a Humvee as a daily driver and lives in Mt. Airy...

    m35a2 insurance... need advice

I would recommend not fibbing on the garaged issue. Think if a tree limb would fall on the cab and you go to file a claim and they ask why it was sitting outside. Look into Gulfway or search it here. No garage clause and they are a breeze to deal with. -Whitey

    Death of a M1031

    Buyer Beware with GL Auctions

Justin at Ft. Meade and Sarah before him were really good about correcting mistakes. I think in the long run it's way easier for them to fix it before the auction. Hope it gets straightened out. -Whitey

best way to remove/replace window seals?

Good report! Glad it all went well. I used Classic for my door and window seals and they fit pretty good. Rock Auto is a great resourse, isn't it.

best way to remove/replace window seals?

I've had to completely disassemble my drivers door about six times in the last year. First was to replace the vent window, then to replace the window seals, then to adjust the seals, then a week ago to replace the window regulator after it grenaded. I am hoping I'll never have to do it again...

going to Colemans next week with joediveguy - need anything?

There are less there now than in the pic. btw: They didn't know what they were. If the NSN doesn't translate to anything relevent to them they eventually just scrap 'em.

How do I make my wipers reset

I'm in the same boat. When I got the 1009 the wipers only worked on the HI setting. I found this out far from home in a spring rainstorm. Next few months they still only worked on HI, then last month all the sudden I have the LOW setting back. The only difference than when it was stuck on Hi...

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

I had a great time as usual. This was also the first event I've brought a MV; my CUCV 1009. Only eventful thing was driving home. Apparetntly I was going 75 mph when I thought I was going 65 mph. I found this out from my father who was trying to keep up with me on 95, 695, and 70. I to...

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

The Ordnance museum has moved, as stated. Used to be a member of their foundation. A good amount of the armor is still in the field because it's either too delicate to move or it was not a priority. The Army did run out of the initial money for the move. The museum building was supposed to...

2012 MTA of No. Jersey Sussex Show

Good show. I think in was the first time in the last few years that it didn't rain. Didn't spend as much as I thought, o I have some scratch left for Aberdeen. The vehicle display area was top notch! See ya next year. -Whitey
