How long will it take?
HMFIC,
Ususally, the first one you apply for takes the longest. Approx. 45-60 days for me. After that, they come through in 7 to 10 days. Hope that helps. Hang tough, time will go fast.

Mkcoen,
Nice job, really looks good. You know what kind of effort was made to get under there and install the cable. Still can't under stand why they take out the "classified, and theat to national security" cable in the first place! Talk about a waste of man hours. Anyways, good work...
Mkcoen,
I got under my trailer and I can see the wire clamps as well. At least they left them in the frame so, once I get a cable, all I have to do is put the cable in the clamps and tighten em up.

Welcome to the site from NJ. What are the issues on the 2 non-running dueces? You should be able to get them going with help from all the experts here. Good luck.
John
All,
Anyone have an MKT Stuff they don't want anymore. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year. Hope we have a good turnout and more vendors than last year.
John
Tim,
Sounds like you need to set up that MKT-85 and press her into service. Sounds like a lot of fun, wish I could find the time to get a crew together and make the long trip down to your place.
On the subject of food and the cost of picking up the whole tab, been there, done that. We...
One last thought, Seriously
Duecenut,
If the shipping really is more than your paying for the truck, find a truck closer to you location. You may have to wait for one, but it just makes the recovery so much easier. You may have to obtain missing parts and install them prior to leaving the...
Pray
Duecenut,
Listen, I am going to give you the best advice, and save you a lot of money. The way the trucks are looking these days, I would seriously consider hiring a trucker to move the vehicle to your house. May cost some money up front, but trust me, it is going to be money well...
Tempo503,
Welcome to the site. Best things you can do is read up on the vehicles and learn as much as you can. The more you know about the way they work the better. Lots of guys in your area that have M series vehicles, mostly up in Sussex Co. Newton, Sparta, Stillwater, Swartswood...
Crossover Install
MKCoen,
Nice find on the crossover. Where you going to bolt the brackets to hold the cable fast? Like to see the pic's when it is all done. Nice to set up the trailer and not have to crawl under and feed up cables, because they are already there. Wish I could find one...
Tim,
Not sure about pic #1? I also have some of those in my MKT-85, I thought it was some sort of heat shield? MKT Mike will see this and he will know what they are for.
Nice trailer and nice score. Good luck with it! When is the maiden civilian cooking event going to happen? Make sure...
Tim,
2nd to last pic, shows manifolds that look like NOS for an M2A Gas Stove used in the older MKT 75's and 85's. MBU took their place in upgraded MKT 85,90, and 99's.
You also have the baking rack with the chain and hooks which is for the M-59 ovens. Just take out the Pot and holder...
Jonothan,
Not sure what this is all about, but you posted the comment? I was just looking at an old thread? If you would like to threaten me, next time maybe do it in a private manner, via PM. Does this kind of thing make you feel better?
John
MKT Attention
I know what you mean. Many, many people asking questions about the trailer, the duece is invisible after you set up the trailer. I picked mine up because I thought it would be cool to go to the shows and be able to cook meals other than burgers and hot dogs. Supposed to be for...
Speddmon,
Did not mean to cause any trouble, just saw a post about the M-59 ranges and asked for help, because that what usually happens here. People offer to help or give advice. I didn't realize I crossed the line. Will PM in the future instead of posting. My bad, sorry. And Mike was...
