I noticed when riding with my partner in his M109A4 is line of site is the top of the windshield..
Now the short bugger is only 5' 10" however he is long in the body. In fact if his legs matched his body he would be 6'4" like his son and if his body matched his legs he would be a Hobbit. ( A...
Yep.. reminded me of the Nuns I begged my mom to let me return to because Military school was worse.aua
Now I reaaly need to get back to work . The Team is loaded ad waiting on me.. Thank god this is the last day down south.
Not sure if correct place for this , if not please move.

I would not mind some boots on the ground on these for a look see. We have to go to Ohio on Wed. may not be able to make it down to see for our selves.
Ok now that I got this bugger in the right spot . Is anyone available...
Full out was bad from what I thought. I run at 48 with 2600 rpm. I really a happy without Black smoke.
Why with an engine as strong as the Cat you can not find more low dollar horse power or butt for an easy 55- 60 mph cruising with out maxing our the rpms.
a. Starts instantly
b. idles perfectly
c. Will cruise at 50-52 with foot on the floor and 2900rpm
d. Auto Trans - Central Indiana, not much for hills.

what? I don't think I listed anything except the M109 neither A3 or A4. Having a little fun on Sunday afternoon. If I was getting serious I would ask if perhaps I need to tune it up to get more power?
Although we are waiting for M923 to show up to compare the drive ablity, Than we can decide...
Thank you.. still researching.. 425's are still big enough to give the Truck the look we wish to end up with after the "Scout Car" conversion..
The 425 will also drop another 140lbs from weight.. In addition to the look we want, it may be our false idea that the reduced weight of wheel tire...
I was outside of truck while someone else started it and have followed down the road. No Smoke. Good thing or bad thing? Oh it is not Multi-fuel
PS "WMO"
Since joining the forum I have read many postings about Blalck smoke and soot from the Deuces.
I think our M109's are broken.. We never get any black smoke.
What are we doing wrong?:???:
Now that I know it fits, i've been researching tires and so far thinking of 445/65R/22.5 or 425
Any know the weight of the front stock and rear dual wheels..
Attempting to figure out the difference from stock 11R/20 on stock steel wheels vs 22.5 Aluminum super singles all around

Excellent.. Thanks to all.. This will solve our problem.. Monday we will scavenge Mr. Hobbs back lot for wheels.
Pointers to tell the difference between Old/new and Stud and Pilot
Thank you. Have you seen this in person or :driver:a link to images etc. I do not have the 5 tons here until late Thursday to Measure the Wheels. I did measure our neighbors semi wheels sitting next to his shop. Under 8.75" pilot hole.
