I also have this issue with a set I bought from them. And also bright is nice and bright dim is very dim, in fact dimmer than the original lights i took out. Guess I know why now.
Original engine/speedo or not, speedo will only tell you how far it has been driven. Not how many hours it has idled because an 18 year old kid was cold or just to lazy to turn it off. ( And yes I can say this because I was once that 18 year old.)
Really? All my other 09s have had this older style shown here. I know its similar, just thought it strange that they needed blueprints to install seat belts. Even says CUCV on the print.
I usually agree with what you say, but... I have seen more and more semi tractors come in where I work with singles on the rear tandems. Looks to be the new standard.
Anyone ever heard of a CUCV seat belt upgrade performed by the Military? Recently picked up a m1009 that originally came from Ft Jackson SC, and noticed it had different style seat belts from every other truck I've owned. Thought it was just a unit level upgrade until I found these blueprints in...
The 60g's are the best plugs you can buy. You will either need to change out the plug at the end of the wire, or grind down the terminal at the end of the plug. Stay away from the Wellmans, there is a reason most refer to them as "Swellmans".
Since your trucks an '87 doesn't it have the dual brake system? I thought that was supposed to keep a single point failure from causing complete loss of brakes.
Good luck finding all those features at a decent price. If I was you I would pm gimpyrobb, he has some Stanadyne FM100 filter bases and filters at a great price.
They do not have a water in fuel sensor or heater, but they do have a bleeder valve. As far as a primer pump cheapest route is...
Ok electrical gurus I need your help again. I have 2 different scenarios where I need a diode, please reply if you can help.
1. I have a 3 way toggle switch that operates reverse lights and back up alarm in 1 position. Next position is back up lights only. Last position is everything off. What...
Thanks, but after looking at there website I think I may go a different route. They have a Cole Hersee 24144 24v 200 amp continuous solenoid that I could use between the grounds of both the 12v and 24v batteries (there grounded to same place on the frame). Wired to a key switch in the dash this...
I just added a 12v alternator to power my bed crane, lights, backup camera, etc and am in the process of wiring it all up. It is a 60 amp 1 wire alternator and I want to wire in a 24v relay to turn it off and on with the trucks master switch. Since its a 60 amp alternator I need a continuous...
Looks good, even has spin on fuel filter mod. From what I see, with no other serious rust or mechanical issues, I would hold out for $4000. It seems well worth it.
Just my luck... One of the main reasons I bought the engine was to pull what I thought was a whistler and put it on my truck. Yea I'm one of the wierd ones who likes the whistle.
Anyone want to trade this for a C?
