Ok so after a while I got to work on the goat this week. Got It all back together and today I took it out on its first drive about 80 miles and no problems. I forgot how mush fun it is to drive the goat and how loud could not find my hearing blocks.:-D

I whis it was that easy. Need to install NOS wire harness for ft and back,install dash, install water pump, and some of the parts have been removed to start the restore project.It comes with all the parts but will take alot longer to put it back together.

Ya that what I was thinking,it would be a long haul. I just started checking into getting it shiped but Iam cheap. And the money I spend on shiping takes away from the restore.

I like to change mine once a year in the spring, I do it in the spring because during the cold weather it gets more idleing. We did the same thing on the fire department bush trucks and never had an problem.

The engine is an easy swap, The trans of the Gama goat trans is late 60s GM truck trans so bell housing should be easy to find.You might want to check over at gamagoat.com for more info.
