Very cool I wish I could have attended but work issues prevented it. I will do my best to be at the next one. Great showing and all very nice looking trucks guys.
I just pull up over lip of the bed. Tires are not but 2 or 300 lbs. but I am thinking about a cherry picker arm in the back corner incase I ever have to load anything really heavy or odd shaped, but so far I just use it for loading and unloading spare tires.
I mounted 2500lb RTV winch in my bed up front under window no braces or anything works great for loading my Spare 11.00 x 20 tires and the like. I'm to old for lifting things anymore.
I bought my truck in Colorado in the month of Feb. -24 degrees ran about 140 to 160 with front half open all the way to Texas. It had cold weather front on it. Never got very warm unless I closed the front flap all the way then would start to over heat. I took off the cold weather front when I...
I got that exact same one and installed it in my deuce it lasted three days before it gave up the ghost so I went with dual alternators instead much better choice I believe.
Just to clarify the Inverter is wired directly to the 12v system battery not the fuse block it is a 2000 watt inverter so it draws a lot of amps when using power tools so it is wired in using battery cables not wire. if you look at pictures close you may be able to see the large cables used to...
Just to make sure we are on the same page I will go into better detail. I removed the 4 bolts holding the winch drive shaft to the PTO hub. Once drive shaft is free of PTO hub and hanging loose. then use crows foot pry bar or what ever to remove other end of the drive shaft from the winch shaft...
Remove shaft from PTO 4 bolts should be 9/16 ths and on winch hub use crows foot. You don't need to disassemble U-joint hopefully but if you do then puller should work.
I have an MX-7777 that I need to install for my military radio set AN/VRC 12. I purchased the needed cord CX-10613 but it has the 4 pin plug with a male screw center. In order to attach to my MT-1029 radio mount I need the 4 pin plug center to be female. Does anyone have the proper cord they...
I went with the 11.00 x 20 Titan Hawk NDT military tires all around. Best upgrade ever. I gained about 5 mph to the top end. Because I had the 9.00 x 20's now my speedo is off by 5 mph. So 55 mph is actually 60 mph.
is it for just the winch or for bumper extension's and everything. I got my winch just the winch $200 then cost me $250 and change for 200' of cable. The whole setup with extension's, pto, linkage, cable, hook, and winch was only around $1800 for everything and I did the install. I did buy mine...
