It almost killed me to look at those pictures. Jealously is a terrible thing. The Mojave Road is one of the reasons I bought my M1009. I've driven through Afton Canyon and followed the railroad maintenance road to the Kelso Depot. Wish I would have had time to go further.
Since the thread is still "active". Could someone please tell me what exactly the STE/ICE thing will tell you about your truck? I've seen them on Ebay a few times and wondered if they are worth the investment.
It sure looks like that place. If it is, that's where my M1009 came from. I paid less than what the OP is planning on paying. Had a small electrical problem to trace out and the transmission vacuum modulator and some vacuum lines needed replacement. There was a small amount of rust under the...

HEADS UP! Anyone who wants to stop by and say hello we are located just past the entrance for gate one. Which is the eastern most entrance for pedestrian visitors. Vehicle count is 3 M35a2 deuces, 2 M1009s, 1 M1008 and an M10?? ambulance. Sorry can't remember the M number for an ambulance.
How many cans of Herculiner did you go through to complete the floor?
I've seen in LMC that a replacement rubber floor is available for the mid 80's K5 Blazers. From what I've seen they don't install cleanly. Any experience with the rubber mat for the earlier generation of K5's? Was there...
