We have replaced many electrical items on the 1963 m-37 including batteries, voltage regulator, generator, turn signal control box, turn signal switch etc. Everything else now works but the turn signals dont seem to be working even with the new parts. I had a wiring diagram but it must be from...
We have been working on our 1963 M-37 and doing brake work. Having almost no driving time on the vehicle prior to brake work I am not sure how hard the brake peddle should be. We have been bleeding and re bleeding the brakes. Can anyone tell me just what to expect as to peddle firmness?
I will be leaving The Royston / Hartwell, Georgia area on Wednesday morning. Looks like 2 m35a2's and a trailer in my group so far. If anyone is interested we can meet up in the Royston, Elberton or Bowman areas on Wednesday morning.
Is the seller a member of SS? Where is the truck? I know of at least one person to stay away from down there. If you need help on the west coast of FLA send a PM to cessnatwin or pctrans. They may be able to provide info or help.
I have run wmo and wvo for over 4,000 miles now. No problems. I flter to atleast 5 microns so that I know its clean. Read up on it and look for wreckermans recipies on it and how he blends with gasoline and diesel.
Great idea on the flags. The m105 is really difficult to back up unless you do it regularly. Its such a pain I choose not to do it regularly and try to park it where I can pull through and drop it instead of backing it in. My trailer turns me into a bad, foul, and evil person sometimes.
Come on down and bring the kids. They will have a blast. Get on Durhamtowns web site to learn more about the place and options for lodging, fun and trail ride stuff. As previously mentioned food is available at meal time at the rally and there is also a restaurant at the place that has great...
I was talked out of buying one becuase of freequent repairs and the many people almost need a full time mechanic to keep them running. I would not rely on it for daily transportation or at least have a back up plan.
Still looking for a set of M35a2 tailgate steps also a working turn signal control box (the one mounted inside the fender area) and a good deuce bumper.
Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that if you plan on renting a cabin or trailer for the rally do it quick. I checked yesterday and there were only about 4 trailers left to rent and all cabins were rented.
I use much less wvo and wmo in the winter because it starts really, really slow. No fun. I dont have heat and during a snow storm when I was out in my duece pulling people and getting around my windshiled completely iced over. I had to stop and scrape every mile. No fun either.
I recently ordered a 3 inch socket from NAPA in Blairsville, GA to use on my duece. They required that I come in and pre pay it. $46.00 I did. It was supposed to be in the next day. I drove back, they could not find it even though it was on thier delivery ticket. The local owner said this...
