If you are worried about insurance go ahead and call or go online to hagarty and get it insured. You can email them some gl pictures by right clicking on them and copying them to your email to them. You will need outside, inside cab and a engine shot. You can do it over the phone and on line...
I have used the JB weld to fix a crack and a hole in a transmission casing on one of my farm tractors. It worked great and did not leak. It may be worth a try if no other option is readilly available or cost effective.
I agree with wreckerman. [thumbzup] I cant see killing yourself (getting wore out) over giving away some tires or spending a bunch of money to have someone do it for you.. Its just not equitable. Tire shops in my area would break them down for about $10 each but you spend $100 to bring in...
Good answers Westech. Also you will have steering clearance issues with those tires on the front. Even with the smaller 395's on stock rims you will have some rubbing on tighter turns. The 395's work fine but when you turn hard they may scrub some.
Cessnatwin, He did, and I was on the road until after 1 AM hauling it home! Can you forward me a new picture of yourself? I am getting tired of the pink shirt in my avatar!
Its getting a "medal" wow! Just playing around tigger. I am looking forward to the rally. Just got a M-37 this week and look forward to brining it with us as well as the deuce's.
We traveled about 160 miles each way to Villa Rica, Georgia yesterday to purchase this 1963 M-37. Not a bad truck, bed is great, floor boards are good and no rust in the battery box. Some rust in the windshield frame on the lower inside corners that is fixable. I do neet to buy or fabricate a...
I just ordered a rear wiring harness on ebay. It came in and was beautiful. Brand new in the plastic bag. It even smelled new. I was pleased. Oddshot came over and we installed it. It was a little easier with no bed on the back of the deuce. It took us about an hour to remove all the...
We had a few guys have to back out of going to the parade because of scheduling conflicts. If anyone wants to join us it will be a great parade. Trucks need to be ready by 9:00 AM in Blairsville for the judging. Every truck must have an American Flag on it somewhere. (no size limitations)...
Just checked NAPA and they said they are a special order item not even carried in the distribution center and had to be special shipped price plus postage and they could not locate the outer cone by the number 392 at all. I am going to keep looking and check O' Rielly.
The reason I am replacing them is that when Oddshot and I were flipping my hubs this week on my bobbed truck we noticed some of the bearings appeared to be scored or marred up, and looked imperfect and kind of rolled roughly or irregularly. At this point it is a preventative meassure being that...
I need to replace my rear axle bearings in my deuce. I have been checking prices today and they are all over place. Does anyone know of a supplier that sells them reasonably? I am going to replace the inner and outers on my bobbed duece.
Mine was doing the same thing a few weeks ago. To get home what I did was go under the truck with the power switch on and opened the drain valve on the primary filter flushing out the crap in the bottom section of the filter housing and getting the water out. I let about a quart run out then...
