I will soon be registering mine, I seem to have found the right insurance for what I need. Still need to get on down to Troop I for data plate verification.
In all seriousness, I don't know how the local cops will react, nor the Sheriff's Office deputies, who only recently got traffic duty...
I went to the site looking for other plates such as the PTO operations data plate and others, but could not find anything.
Anyone know of a source? My plates all have paint on them, and even though I have gotten some of it off, they are in poor condition.

Thanks in advance for this! Here's the info on my recently acquired M35A2 Deuce and a Half. ETA to include: with winch.
VIN# 04H87671053912007
Reg# 04H8767 (stenciled under the hood)
(There is also an ID # on the data plate, reads 04H8767 0539 12007)

I am near Ville Platte, but I need to be on the receiving end of some of this good information from the more experienced members here. Just got my Deuce, and it appears I may have a significant winch issue.
LC
I appear to be having the same issue with the winch on the Deuce I just got. The fluid reservoir on the right side of the winch appears to be full of oil, but there is none on the left side, where the dog lever is. I assume that both reservoirs should be full, shouldn't they? My shear pin...
Thanks for the good words, everyone. I feel like I got pretty lucky. It would have been nice if it had come with the cargo cover, but hey, you can't have everything, I will get one eventually.
The tires are in decent shape, the engine runs like a champ (and it's a whistler, woo hoo!!!). I...
As I posted earlier this week, finally got my Deuce after an agonizing six-month wait. To say I am relieved and happy would be a gross understatement.
I was unable to be there when the Deuce was picked up and delivered, but my brother and one of our friends were there to capture the moment...
Finally got it home!!! Gonna post pics as soon as I have time. Hired a local driver to pick it up, my brother and a friend also went to lend a hand as needed, I couldn't go because of work.
To say that I am happy is an understatement. The Sergeant at Beauregard said my Deuce had been sitting...
Having it picked up on Tuesday, August 17. Found a hauler and it seems like a good deal. It's only 60 miles away, but I would rather not drive an unfamiliar truck that distance, too much downside.
The bad thing is that I won't be able to take off work to deal with it, but my brother will help...
Finally got my approval yesterday!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy I am about to pop. Six months exactly to the day I won the auction.
I have already posted transport needs in the Transportation section, if anyone can help I would appreciate it, I need to get this thing off the lot ASAP before it goes...
Finally received my approved paperwork for my Deuce, exactly 6 months to the day I won my auction on Feb. 4. :)
Need transportation from Camp Beauregard, LA to near Ville Platte, LA, a distance of 55-60 miles tops.
Willing to pay reasonable rates.
Can anyone help? EUC was approved...
Thanks, Seth.
After I posted this question, I started looking around the site for some information and came across that same post. In it, there is info that the military and GL have known about this since around Sept. 2009.
While I am happy to have some kind of response, it sure is taking...
Well, I finally got some movement on this issue, but I am a bit confused. Below is the text of the email I got from DRMS.
I thought that military trucks were Demil "B" or "Q", not "F"? Anybody have any idea what this message means? There is a link to the demil codes on GL, but when I try to...
Well, my paperwork has been at BC since March 10, I won the auction on Feb. 4. I FINALLY got in touch with someone from DLA, they called me two days ago to confirm the spelling on my paperwork.
The guy said he would try to get back to me this week, I sure hope this is a good sign, this has...
I don't think you'll find a more patient guy than I am. Generally, I let things roll off my back. But it is more than slightly unreasonable for a company to take your money and then refuse to give you any indication about what is going on with the property you purchased. I could understand if...
Well, I called the numbers listed and the lady on the other end said they don't have anything to do with surplus property, that they are the Accountability Office. She also could not get me a number of anyone to call who could assist me. Even the email that I sent to them bounced back.
I am...
This describes my situation almost exactly. I won an auction in Event 4991 on Feb. 4. BC has had my corrected EUC paperwork since March 10. I have not been able to find out much since.
LC
Well, I won mine on Feb. 4, sent in the EUC paperwork right away, they got back to me in early March, sent revisions in, they have had them since March 10. No end in sight, I guess.
No answers to emails, phone messages or chat.

Hiya Progun:
Still waiting on mine, won the auction on Feb. 4 and still don't have it. Have not received a cancellation notice from GL, but I am getting more than a little upset with this process. Not gonna let it go on much longer. They've been sitting on my $2500 for months now.

Duson is near Lafayette. Good to know that, it's only about 25-30 miles from me. Not a lot of members out here on the Cajun Prairie, so it's nice to find someone near here.
