Twitched?? Dang near set off Cal Tech here in Pasadena.
Keep us informed about the coverage on this. I am sure I am not the only one that wants to see this in print or on DVD. Dang I wanna see your movie.
Ya know.............there are people here that could turn that into a reality TV show or...
Yo Pete - aka Overland,
Since you are in the LA area.............. make a 45 minute journey north up the 101 to Thousand Oaks and you can crawl all over my M35A2 with the Whistler (screamer) turbo. I'll start her up and take you for a ride. That may help in getting you addicted.
Hey SG!
That is the kind of writing I love to read - I thought I was there! In fact I practically am. I have a shop in Nor Cal as well as the one here in So Cal and you went right past it when you went through Sac. I have friends in Hollister too. So did you stop at Casa De Fruita and get one...
Dang! I made it as far as Mammoth Lakes to deliver my brothers truck to him and immediately had to turn around and head home. I have so many design jobs to get done it isn't funny. I hate it when work gets in the way of fun. :banghead:
But, too much work sure beats no work. :shakehead:
Be...
Hey, it is close isn't it. I was following him to see where all the cool parts were located at.
Nah, you got more green grass there. I got dirt with sparsely spaced foxtails.
3 quick questions:
So from 87-89 there is a brake idiot light in the dash?
Would this be in the middle of the guage clusters?
They quit making Dueces after 1989?
May have to rethink the year of my 2.5
DRat, I just noticed the last line of your Sig. Congratulations!!! That is a major accomplishment with a lot of hours put in.
Just think of all the spare time you are going to have to be able to play with your vehicles.
Are we all invited to the Commencement ceremonies??
I think we got us a convoy!
That looks sweet mcinfantry.
I am looking at your pics with the wheel wells all filled up with those 1100's and then out the driveway to my truck with the 900's then back to your truck then back at mine...........sigh.
I know what I want from Santy Claus.
And here I was all excited because my Duece came with all service records showing they did a "MAJOR" servicing 1 year ago and only put 3 hours and 75 miles on it before I got it. Good thing I was up in truck and tractor country (close to Dieselsmoke) that had a Walmart and Shell Rotella 3 weeks...
Mcinfantry, that is slick. So does the green knob "bolt" the cable lead to the battery lug?
By unscrewing it you then disconnect the cable completely?
I will PM PM Pappa-G per Armada's post to see what he's got up his sleeve.
Thanks
I remember reading somewhere about a cutoff switch to the batteries. Not a knife type but a dial/rotary type if possible.
If anyone has done it, is there a part number for such an animal?
I want to put one on my truck in the battery box and also install a locking mechanism on the battery cover...
Yo Brent,
I seem to have jumped in with both feet.
The only problem is that it usually takes 1-2 hours to read everthing........that's not including all the backlog of info that came before I signed up.
I am slowly digging through it though.
So much information here and it is growing by leaps...
Whoah!!!
Pucker factor is right!! I'd probably have to get a crowbar to remove the seat from my backside after they cut the steering wheel outa my hands.
Hi Pete,
If I could get the ACad file I would be very grateful. I have access to large format printers here so it would be a snap.
I can even print it on canvas for framing!
I'll PM you with my address.
Thanks
Gary
