new Deuce top today
Took some time today to put on a new od vinyl insulated top. Not too bad when getting the old one off (Frank, it will be in the mail soon) and sliding the new one n place. Just me and the wasps (soldier #2). Bill -

RE: wasps I used a coffe can full of moth balls, leave the lid off when you are not in the truck. I also had a nest in some sheet metal that I filled with "great stuff" foam. Bill -

Gama Goat fuel filter
Guys, is the FRAM C1169 used in the Detroit diesel? I have 5 that won't fit my M35. Anyone need them? Bill -
10 ton restored on Alfa
Bruce, great comments, many pieces of OD stuff including rough terrain folklifts and mobile cranes are cool but just not too practical for most of us. I think the 10 tonners border this line also.. Bill- rockman

Swapping a winch
Pretty easy to do just take your time and reassemble it. You'll need help on moving the winch and installing the PTO. Bill -

I used a black bridge paint after the primer and under the OD. It has help up real well for about 5 years now. Bill -

Got mine from XS Surplus in PA back in 10/98. Had one parts truck in 2004. -

Deuce for practical off-road work
I have mine loaded with two cords of fire wood, axle deep in mud and it kept on going. Snow is also pretty easy however, ice is another story. Keep it moving and don't drive like a kid and you will be surprised where it can take you. Bill in TN :D -
