    20x8 1/4 sheet of ar500 weighs 1700# +400# for doors plus BP glass and some other steel for floor it probably 4000#. The mg3 turret only weighs 70 # plus if I armor that to.

    The grille is from mrap it is taller than 5 ton but follows the hood line well and offers more frontal protection. Also it's a delta but the back fin extends pass the front fin making a t of sorts in middle

    Got some more done. Also ordered a mg3 turret. For $ 350 shipped I had to order one. If l don't like it I'll mount it on my polaris ranger and get a lws for my truck. Plus I picked up an adjustable gunner step/center console.

    Lws sounds good, also found mg3 turrets for cheap but they have there problems.

    So I'm thinking of adding a turret. I know were I can get a m66 and mounting it above the roof on pins so I can detach it when needed. Also trying to get ideas on roof hatch. Let me know what you think or have, looking for any type of turret.

    The more I think about it the more it keeps adding up. I know I have about 2500# in steel but I don't have the glass, seats, mrap light kit, and custom front bumper on it yet. Yea it's going to add up but who ever said armor was light. Bet it will ride better though.

    Looking good,could you get me the angle that the side of the roof is and the angle of the front of the roof up by the visor. Need to know it for my crew cab.

    On the back of the cab I mocked up the hydraulic tank for the winch, the air cleaner and the two by fours represent the exhaust. The box on the bottom I was just using for a block.
