So for rear cab mount I used another stock rear cab mount. My concern is the additional 2000# in armor so what do u guys think of putting small air bags under middle of rear cab and regulator set to whatever psi to take some of weight while driving.
Ok, so to make tanks fit this is how I modified mounts . I couldn't find another set of tank brackets so I used stock box brackets. There the same except for the ends.
The tanks look aluminum, coated with a thick coating rubbery like bedliner. The seats are air ride and like 6 way,l think there out of franken cab. Got pass side tonight and mocked up mrap 360 lite kit.
Got the floor in today not armoured steel but 10 ga and 2x3 angle iron. I also started mounting mrap self healing fuel tanks. There a tight fit but some mods to strap mounts they fit good, about as big as you can go.
Mounted relocation battery box today. I only acquired the box so I had to extend all the original brackets. I also moved air tanks forward so I could make room for mrap self healing fuel tanks.
So I decided to turn my 925 a1 into an armored crew cab. I ordered quarter inch ar500 doors windshields and a few other miscellaneous parts from last stand survival and the rest I'll fill in the blanks with ar500 I'll cut with my plasma cutter. So here's some pictures of what I did this week.
