    Bobber 20K PTO Rear Winch

Gringeltaube, The dog you have pictured is the one I have on my t case. It's mate however, INSIDE the PTO, is too long by about an inch. I can modify this one but would prefer finding one an inch shorter. Thanks for your input,

I do have a 2 1/2 ton PTO, it does bolt up and work. Can you see if the clutch dog in your PTO is a short one or a long one?

    Bobber 20K PTO Rear Winch

your right, I could do that. But, with so many PTO's out there, there must be clutch dogs that will work without modifying them

    Bobber 20K PTO Rear Winch

I thought I would put a PTO winch off of a 5 ton on the rear of my Bobber. I bought a winch and mounted it between the frame rails behind the rear spring perches. Bought a transfercase PTO and made a propeller shaft. The PTO I bought had clutch dogs with a huge ramp on one side and a square...

    9.00 x 20 snow tread

It's all about making sharp edges for bite and getting rid of the continuous rib down the middle of the tire....Of course the rib is what makes them last longer on the pavement, but it's also what keeps you from climbing over a wet root or log. The pattern just works out asymmetrical. After...

    How much cable

does a 5 ton front winch hold? I know it's on here somewhere but I'll be dipped if I can find it. I know it's 5/8's and I suspect it's 200 feet but I'm not sure. I'm buying cable tomorrow and I would like to get the right amount. thanks

    Power steering

That shaft is less than 5 inches from the frame. ranchhopper's box sticks out 8 to 10 inches and he claims the tire doesn't hit it.

    Power steering

I was trying to stay away from running a box on the outside of the frame rail but that box looks pretty narrow. I'll have to look around and see if I can find a F700 box. How far does yours stick out from the frame ?

    Power steering

Has anyone tried this type of power steering on a Deuce? I found this on a multi-fuel 5 ton. It looks like it may work.

    Anyone in Arizona

#1 Too much. That's why I'm looking close to home. #2 5/8 of course. And, that is why I asked under the '5 ton' forum since you are the guys that would have the right size, length and ends

    Transfer Case PTO

I sure hope they are the same ( the output spline on the Deuce transfer case vs the 5 ton ) My PTO has a lever on it for a mechanical in and out. I plan on using the 5 ton PTO and 5 ton winch on the rear of my Deuce. How could a power divider be useful ? I guess I really don't even know what...
