I have been running 33/12.50-15 BFG's for 40 years on GM 8" rims with no problem, 10.50's should not pose any problems either. I have them at 35lbs for highway driving. I get even wear. On the 1/2 ton pickups I run a couple lbs less in the rear if running empty bed most of the time.

It is an improvement in all categories except fuel mileage. Lots more power.
Around me gas is a lot cheaper than diesel right now so that helps offset the lower mpg.

I have installed heaters in many trucks using new kits to whatever will work. I really don't need the cabin heat as much as needing the defrost feature. Need to keep ice off the glass in order to see.

There are different sizes of picks. Most are flats with a varied width to fit the lock slot groove in the connector. Some are very small and I use a thin round to reach the terminal lock. I use a barrel pick for the weatherpack terminals.
