I installed the kit just to allow more pressure to the clutches and I like the firm shifting. I will keep up dated as to what I find. but it wont be for a few days the work thing gets in the way.
So week before x-mas lost the transmission in my truck 85 M1010. Backed out of drive way to plow it put in drive would not move at all. So pull out transmission rebuild it last week. finally got to put it in today got all put in went to test drive would not shift out of second. So my big...
well yes it can be done but SOB! PITA!! but yes I did get it done. first loosen the vacuum pump so it turns then reach arm down under the manifold. use crows foot with an extension. get the crows foot on the loose nut then put ratchet on extension turn until can't then reposition crows foot do...
Well back in mid September I finished doing both head gaskets. but one of the injector lines are leaking and has been since the job was completed. just can't seem to find a few hours to fix the problem. but also wondering if the bottom right line (#3). can be tighten with out taking the manifold...
I guess I should have put more info about the tires before I posted the ad. they are Yokohama y742. the size is 235 85 16. they are a load range E they have 3 ply side wall. I have had the same tread design on a 11R24.5 on my big truck was about the best winter tire and off road I know there are...
well I don't know if I got the pics right but the tires are yokohama 235 85 16 the tire is a y742 .if any of you folks know of winter tiers from the trucking world the "winter deep' they are in the top of the best for winter. and in the mud and snow. this is the only company that makes the tread...
If it was me I would drain the oil right were it is before starting. You are right about settling but not the end of world if you don't. then I would put your new battery in an then turn the key cycle glow plugs and see what happens. you may have problems you may not. try it before you worry...
I have been looking for the post as to why not use them in a CUCV. I lost the driver side a few weeks ago and had to get a new alternator. went to the local part store order had one the later that day. put it in got out of bind. then remembered that there is several post as to why not use that...
thanks for the Information I did find Ibistek and that was the one's I was looking for. I am in the middle of building one like there's. but it will not be LED or HID as of yet.
I am looking for information on the light bars that I have seen on the 5 tons. The ones that bolt to the windshield frames. And they are on the HMMWV'S. I really just need to know what they are called to look and try to get some pics. This is for a new project I am working on to try to make one...
well in 20 + years of trucking if a person lugs an engine on a long hill(pull) the exhaust will heat up turbo or not.. so try to keep the engine rpms up towards the top of the scale.. believe it or not that will drop the exhaust temp down..
This is tourdog I miss last yeas due to work. but here in central me. I have 50 achors we could have the ME.rally on would just have to have a date I am not working. I work every other weekend so not to hard to plan around fathers day. kind of glad to here we want to get away from fathers day...
when I converted my truck to 12 volt. I bypassed the resister on the fire wall. then I took both altenaters out and in stalled two 12 volt altenators. (just faster and alot easier than the rosinall convertion). put a gear reduction 12 volt started in. that is the down and dirty vertion of how to...
that diagram would work. but quite a bit more involed that what I would have done.what I was talking about was put the toggle switch in the ground wire alot less load on it then when you dont want the hellas flip the switch and the relay is not grounged hence won't work the hellas wont come on...
more to the thought is one has to ground the relay anyway. so you run the ground through the switch which breaks the ground then the relay does not work hence the extra light don't come on. the relay is triggered by high beam lights. every thing else is wired the same. fuses ect. just break the...
I have done what you want to do several times over the years. I put a small switch some where out of the way. then break the GROUND side of the relay to turn the lights off if I did not want them on for some reason. breaking the ground side allows you to use a real small cheap switch because...
So here is why I think I have a bad head gasket but looking for other Ideas.
I will start at the begining early part of Dec. not getting any heat at an idle or if stop at stop sign or red light all heat goes away. meaning the blower blows ice cold air . so I said self check antifreeze level...
