Try craiglist and search with the term "parting out or blazer". There are alot of blazers within 250 miles of me. You'll need to get one of the craigslist search programs to search more than local. I found a guy parting out a M1008. Got the doors and hood cheap.
Got to say Warthog is the man. Got a left side window for my 1009 and a few extra parts and a lot of good advice. He took some time to show his motor pool to me and talk CUCVs. With his advice I was able to install the new window in no time.

The girl had to call her Mom who owns the tag agency. She read the "book" but didn't understand it. aua I've done a couple of m151 there and Mom has the know how. Anyways my wife will go out there wednesday.

Won a M1009 from GSA ir AR. Talked to the one of the guys at the yard and says flatten one of the tires when they moved it lafter the last auction. Also says it was the second time it was put up for auction. So I'm going with a truck and car trailer. Will try and make the recovery...

Need to borrow/rent a tow bar to recover a CUCV near Little Rock, AR and return to Tulsa, OK area.
Still need to see if a tow dolly will work.

The areas you were in are actual training areas. In one of your maps you were near the airfield and the bunker area. I'd stay farther south. You being in a 1009 probably wouldn't arouse much attention. There are places you can go on post in the training areas when there is no training...
