I've got a charcoal grill that "knocks down" for easy transport and a 1 mermite can and large cooler. if no one else can get one, I may (and that's a big "MAYBE") be able to lay my hands on a small civi generator...
This guy used to import them so you could contact him and see what he has, or can do for you. www.eurotruck-importers.com Another company that used to deal in the BV206 was cold war remarketing their web site is www.coldwarremarketing.com...
I kind of like it as well! Like a previous poster wrote "look's like the world's biggest WC62." It's kind of funny how that works out though, the rig you buy for very little cash and plan on using as a parts donnor or what ever winds up being the" best runner you own." Good luck with your...
Re: RE: An official military Bob job????
I think I saw pictures of that thing in Military Vehicles magazine a while ago. They had a short article to go along with the pictures...

I'm in the process of finishing up the complete restoration of a 1967 M151A1. If you have ever driven any of the solid axle, leaf sprung tactical MVs than you are in for a real treat with the Mutt series of trucks! They ride as smooth as a modern...

It's been years since I've had a close look at one, but your cupola looks very similar to the ones used on late model M4 Shermans. What does your armored car look like? The images you've posted have intrieged me...

The WC62 is the non winch 1.5 ton Dodge 6X6. It's the WC63 that is the winch equipped 6X6 variant of the 1.5 ton Dodge WC series trucks.
Still pretty cool though learning to drive stick with one of those...

Is the WC61 the "knock down" ambulance (looks like a weapons carrier)? My first MV driving experiance was with an M37. It didn't have a rear pumpkin so it was front wheel drive only and the windshield glass was broken so we folded the windshield...

The only real "down side" to the WC62 that I can see (and the reason I got rid of mine in the first place) is with it's 3 axles. What I mean is for everything you buy (axle related :tires, gear ratios, disc brake kits) for the 4X4s you have to 1 and 1/2 times...

You make some good points. In regards to condition, all three trucks are resto candidates (not running) with the WC62 being the easiest of the three to get running (complete drive line and was probably the most resantly run) All three trucks are missing...
Fellows -or Dodgemen!( if you prefer)
My M151A1 restoration project is nearing completion and I'm starting to look around for another project. The MV I did before this current one, was a '44 WC51 and that was a 5 year frame off total resto. around the same time...

Just another thought (wow 2 in one day!) here, Try contacting www.Idahomotorpool.com I beleive that they have an M75 and may be able to help you. Or if you're register'd over on www.g503.com there are several M75 owners over there who may be able to...
I've seen quite a few of the new strykers (LAV III) being hauled on I-81 around here. Also still in their plastic wrappers. The coolest thing I've seen on the back of a big rig traveling down the highway would have to be a pair of brand new (in the white) LVPT7 (A2?) hulls headed somewhere...

I just looked in my M59 OP/maint.manual and it has more info on the later style M13 cupolas. I remember the previous owner of my APC telling me about removing the cupola from one such track (I don't remember which cupola type) he said that the...

If I'm not mistaken, the commander's cupola on the M75 is identical to the ones used on late model M4 Shermans tanks. It was also used on the first gen M59 APC's as well. I still have my maint. manual for my M59 here I'll check it today and...

Is that the 4X4 rig that looks like a V150 (XM706)? All I know about them is what is in Jane's reconigtion guide to AFVs. If you ever get a chance to watch that show "Detroit SWAT" the Detroit PD has one of those AFVs that they use quite a...

Thanks for the invite I had a really good time despite all the mishaps :) and the cold . Some of the more memorable moments for me would have to be Rob running out of diesel in the middle of the road in down town Chambersburg and hearing MD308 over the...
