I didnt think of the sleeping mat material - my dad might even have some laying around from an old surplus buy. The db engineering has some neat stuff too.
Just spoke with my dad - BINGO he has the mats !! - we will give that a try with pics to follow.

Read through it - looks like it applys to all MVs - aside from the M35A2C the Mk48/14 will go this route too. Will be working on the paperwork in the AM.

Today my dad removed the cover and the mechanism was frozen in the off position- with alittle wiggling it came loose. Now the question - will the loosening fix the problem or do we need to dig deeper into the pump?
