    First good load haul

I loaded just over 1800# of batteries into the M101A2 and the wife hauled them to the recycler behind the expedition. No problems. Surge brakes make such a difference. No pictures though.

    Radio installation question

Do NOT connect a standard 12Vdc negative ground civilian radio to the back battery. The negative terminal of the back battery floats 12Vdc above the chassis ground. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/cucv/54167-where-wire-winch.html#post622169

    radio help

You can get 12V between the positive and negative posts of the back battery but the negative post of the back battery 'floats' 12V above the vehicle chassis ground. If that cig lighter is connected to the back battery that way you will read 12V between the contacts (ring and center contact) but...

    Bringing my M1009 home

If GL receives a vehicle without dents or rust they are obligated to make some dents and park it out back until the rust appears before selling it. I think that requirement is written into their contract with uncle sugar. :)

I believe the marker lights it refers to are the tail lights as opposed to stop/turn lights. Does the M101A3 have side marker lights?
