I have sold out of all the spots that were assigned to me in the Yellow section. However, I have requested that they get me 8-10 more spots for people still needing a spot or two. These will all be in the area of the SS members maybe just several rows away. (Staggering distance) I have sent pms...
Your airpac needs to be replaced or rebuilt. When you go over today and start her up, most likely the brakes will be back to normal until you apply them a time or two. The air pack is n not allowing the air to vent when you apply brakes.
Reminder to all. I will be getting spots tonight so send me a pm is you already have not. Those who have I will pm you tonight or tomorrow morning. I am going to recover a Weasel after work.... This should be fun...
I attended the Blue/Gray MVPA meeting today at the USMC Museum in Quantico. You need to visit that museum. I was impressed.... OK back to the subject. There are still spots open with the Steel Soldiers at Aberdeen, if you want to come. pm me if you still want a spot, or spots and have not...
I just love my M-2-4. These are without a doubt the least documented WWII truck that the military ever used. I just spoke with a fellow owner at the MTA show last week and we are trying to get 4 east coast trucks together at one time for Aberdeen. I have attached a picture of a Iwo Jima M-2-4...
I have a friend who had their IP die on them. I went looking for a source to locally rebuild it, or replace it ,and it does not exist. Who on this site rebuilds the IP??? Post or send a pm. Thank you.
The boys are all on their way home by now so some more pictures will start showing up later this evening. Great show. I am going up for a
the entire show next year.
I left with my trunk full and all I could get inside my car. I found plenty of good buys from individuals selling spare parts. That is why I go when they open the gates. I guess I look at the positive aspects of events like this. I spent 5 hours and still did not get to look into every bin and...
Just got home from the show, and all can I say is wow.. What a great show. Great turnout by the SS crowd. After a long cold winter it was great to see Carnac, JTonka, DH and Wife of DH, Emmado, Maddawg, SrJeeper, and anyone else I may have missed. The MTA is a great bunch of collectors. Specials...
I was looking at your jeep yesterday. heading to the MTA as soon as I finish this post. 3 M-2-4's all together may be some sort of record in the date and time. See you at the show.
I am up here at Sussex looking for IHC parts. Good turnout by the SS brotherhhood so far and the show does not start until tomorrow.. Thanks for the comments guys.
Thanks Clinto. I was looking for an good restorable M-37 and found this one. I kinda skipped a war and went from a Korean war era truck back to the start of WWII.
It was nice out on Monday so I got a ride to the shop where my truck has been stored for the winter, and brought her home. Work now begins adding 30 BMG's for the show at Aberdeen. This is a frame off restored 1941 M-2-4 w/w. I just love this truck and its one that I will never get rid of...
