    I have a LDT 465 "D" with a data plate dated 1987 !!! Hercules of course!! 17000 miles. The duece a 1987 AM General which came down from Alaska in 2001. Added to message above

    Look under the left front fender on the frame and there should be a number stamped into the frame and the axles and transfer and tranny case should be dated with a tag(Metal) They will be dated . I might be wrong but that is my 2 cents worth...
