We used 7/16" inner diameter regular fuel hose scrapped from a 5 ton, won't know how long it will last since it's not rated for submersion, but the 7/16 was a nice snug fit. We used a little lube and some elbow grease.
We tried 1/2" inner diameter hose and it was a little too loose for my liking.
Well after a little misdirection on my part, the tank was actually privately owned by the museum.
I have managed to broker a deal for the sale of the tank. The final price has been deemed by contract to be undisclosed, so don't ask. I will note that my commission for the work I did on the back...
Alternator swapped, it works.
Blinker box swapped, they work.
Now just gotta fix the blinker handle, it fell off the column.
Might fix the wipers.
I hope I have time to cook the beans... :)

Well after adjusting my brakes, I can now stop properly. So looks like I will make it in a MV :)
Of course now the blinkers don't work. Hopefully the blinker control in my other deuce works so I can swap it out.
