I would rather buy from a fellow SS member first. I prefer not to take a chance with Ebay. It is not like I can do anything from over here if the deal goes bad.

So let me make sure I understand. The end of the bar where the adaptors go have to have one inch holes?

Will this one tow a deuce? The description says HMMWV, but describes it as medium sized.

I saw those, but they exceed my price range. I was hoping to fiind a better deal on here.

If I was home I would not have a problem with buying a bent one and repairing it.

That man has some talent. I planned on biulding my own tow bar some day. But I seriously doubt it will turn out like that. Craftsmanship like that does not come cheap. So even if I pay some one to make a tow bar for me, I will still be out the same if not more money.

There are companies that make tow bars for civilian vehicles.

I have found some Tow bars over here in the scrap yard that are in damn fine shape. But they are the big ones and I can only imagine what the shipping would cost.
