Sturm when we had her out yesterday she peed a puddle about the size of a dollar bill in 7 hours of sitting on the asphalt. Soldier A was thinking rear main seal as well.
On a different note soldier C and myself cleaned and painted Helena our 105 in preparation for a week at the Packwood flee...
Paradeduty, I think we he has downloaded all the manuals, but I will check into it and let you know. In any case thank you for the offer. We took both girls out to do a little selling yesterday and noticed Ramona is leaking oil out of a hole that does not have a plug in it. looks like the bell...
iatractor, you may be way too right sir.
So, I can't find soldier A last night and it was time for supper. When I finally figured out where he was it was way too cute. He and our two furry children were sitting in Ramona talking about all the changes and up grades to come. That's where it...
Can the hard shifting be helped by changing what kind of fluid is in the transmission? I have talked to a couple of people that suggest things like 30 weight oil or the Dex change.
This tranny doesn't have a torque converter does it?
Hugs to everyone
iatractor, you are no help at all sir! However, he has been infected all his life, and it's not getting any better.
hendersond, I will let him read this ASAP because he thought the front end was binding. If lockouts won't change things then we don't need to waste the money. We're putting out...
Thank you hendersond. We just wanted to make sure nothing needed immediate attention. With only 2800 original miles, didn't see ho there could be tranny issues, but ya never know. Don't know what she has in the transmission for fluid, and need to do more reading on what she should have in her...
Big Bang at Bonney Lake
So we did the Bonney Lake Days event today. Ramona got scrubbed and dolled up for the parade, and was a big hit. After the parade she was a stand alone attraction on the field, and soldier A was like a new dad all day long. That's the good!
For the questionable or not...
This is going to be the hardest post I have made yet, because I have to admit my addiction as well. Can't tell anyone what to do based on their situation, but coming from a girls point of view, buy it! I have never seen my husband so happy after he drove Ramona around the neighborhood. We're in...
USMC that's really cool. Like the menising look of the second picture. We just got back from Morton and need a little recovery time, and then we will get to all the details.
OK, I have to set the record straight this morning. It's a camo paint scheme we are looking for not a camp one. :cookoo: A few to many hours at work and a few too many beers.
Anyway, thanks again to USMC & m1010 for the pictures. We are convinced the drag link is supposed to be formed the way...
While he is making products and trying to figure out the steering issue, I can throw out some more explanation of what wemintend to do with this awesome peice of steel.
We're thinking hard bed cover with gull wing sides for product display. Most likely a rv interior for the creature comforts on...
OK! m1010plowboy I'm staying put, because everything you said makes since. Looks like all of the steering play is in the wheel. About 8 inches side to side in the wheel with out making the drag link move. What to do??? By the way I always end up being soldier B which means I get all the crap...
Last post here before I actually start the rebuild thread, as I think SturmTyger is correct that it will be a more direct way of getting the necessary information to accomplish what we want to do.
So, the new girl has a huge amount of play in the steering wheel. He looked at the thing he is...
SturmTyger, that was so cool of you to do that for us Darlin. Thank you so much.
So, if I understand this reb shifter thing it makes the tranny kinda like the new paddle shifters?
USMC, way cool link. Thank you. I will have to get him out of the truck long enough to sit down and read it...
SturmTyger. We are doing the Morton Loggers Jubilee in three days so he is going to have to wait a week to start building his fantasy rig. However, I think he figured out that the extra lever basically locks the tranny in which ever position you set that lever in.
My question would be, if you...
She is home!!!
WOW! Where to start with every thing?
srodocker: You have me confused with someone else darlin. Just brought the truck home this morning and it hasn't been on the road in eighteen months. The basic history is that it was a Marine unit, then a Orca Island fire truck before being...
Alan,
Got your PM and want you to know I think you are a doll. The old girl is darn near museum quality and I have never seen a bigger smile on soldier A's face. He has wanted an M211 since he was about 8. Before the fuel lines clogged she purred like a kitten and shifted like a race car. Guy...
Oh Boy
Got her started and drove around some then the fuel lines clogged up. Going to bring her home tomorrow, with luck.
Have an EMERGENCY REQUEST! Can any one direct a girl to the operators manual for the truck so my crazy better half can learn to work the transmission.
