I had an injector that leaked fuel. I ending for taking two crescent wrenches to unscrew the injector and replaced the copper washer for that injector.
fuel is going to continue to go up. With a max of 5 mpg, it would be fun to drive but also expensive. Multi and transmission is proven big block and unknown tranny not proven.
how easy will the 5 ton steering wheel turn the vehicle. I'm 6'2" and too close to 300 lbs but don't have the problems you have. It may be easier to drop the weight that break out the torch.
I know the guy that built that van. He thought it was a great idea but he is retired military and his friend had the tire contract. Not sure how it came to fruition. I will get an update in a couple of weeks and report back. You can view the truck in New Boston, Tx.

I just fixed mine a couple of days ago. When taking the back plate that is leaking take snap ring out and just pound it on a piece of wood and it will come out enough to pry out. If you take the front nozzle apart be careful because there is a washer that you have to put on just right or will...
if traveling for long distance get your plug in portable heater out of the house and put in cab for about 15 minutes. That will heat up the cab to be comfortable then the engine will keep you warm for the rest of the trip.
