Cool idea for storage under the passanger seat.

If they say its a box bolted on its probably like mine had where there was a large frame box built for hauling equpment in so that it would be sheltered and dry. Many times the medical detachments would have that type box. They are usually bolted down and had a lot of heavy duty silicone...

I am going to swap out my box drivers seat in my deuce. Does anyone know if the holes in the floor match the location required so I can bolt in a spring seat or do I need to drill new holes in the floor?

Try to save it. It would be a shame to shred it.

You could have someone go check it out for you and report back the potential drivability. I lucked out on my most recent truck. It came out of GL great and I drove it home. It can be done.

Its just amazing how these can sit for years and with a few minor things (batteries, Fuel etc.) they can start right up.
