I think the OP is the first person (at least in a while) to get a GL winch deuce for under $2k.
I'm not gonna even mention what the last one out of NM sold for.
My 06 VW Jetta TDI had a DMF.
They were hit and miss. Right before they went out, they'd start chattering.
I believe most that had failure were swapped out for SMF's.
There is a lot of information about DMF failure at TDIclub.com.
Thanks for editing your post.
Lots that get mentioned obviously have much more interest.
If you ever need an inspection, you can say 'Need inspection near xxxxx city'
You cannot mention upcoming lots. Including what they are and location. Please edit your post.
If it requires a EUC expect a 70 business day wait on your first.
Ones on the west coast typically sell for more.
If you acquire one on the east coast expect $2-2.50 a mile for shipping.
If this will be your first MV I highly recommend to try to buy a private party truck you can look over and test drive. Might want to see what hundy has for sale.
Happened before, it will happen again.
I've seen people specifically buy a 101 or 105 trailer for their first EUC, so future ones on big lots go fast.
GL has plenty downsides. Most involve a fork-lift.
Great story, and thanks for the pics!
It doesn't snow often here, but if it does, you better believe I'll be pulling soccer moms out of the ditch... (with pics)
Hitting the brakes during a slide is typically a no-no though, just start steering into it and drift it.
