I believe the 4x4 tranny housings are heavier than the 2x's. At least that is what I was told by several tranny shops and the GM parts guy I use...

There were also about 200 4 cylinder white multifuels auctioned out of GL a month or so ago. Low HP, but....

Have been running 33" or equivalent, 285 75R16s, on GMs with no lift for the past 30 years. Have not had to trim the fenders either. I prefer no lift as I like to keep the roll over chances 'stock'...2cents
