And by the way, I know most of the Iraqi police are serving their country and working towards a stable Iraq. But let me tell you from experience, not all of them are on our side. I have seen first hand some of them detonate an IED on one of our convoys.
Several. I use MRE boxes becuase they are very sturdy. My wife is not happy when she sees one come in. They are always heavy and she has a hell of a time organizing the stuff in them. She said the mail man already knows whos house they are going to when they arrive. These brake assemblies are a...
You should see some of the other Pick ups out there. The Irai police uses them and they get blown up and shot to hell all the time. Those guy roll around outside the wire with a machine gun mounted in the bed.
This is the other truck I have been working on. WHat do you do when you can only fit a wrench and cannot get enough leverage? you use a fork lift to break the nut losse. The final photograph is victory. One side done and lessons learned.
Well another day has gone to crap already. I went out there today to get this stuff finished and a call went out on the radio that I had to respond to. Those damn insurgents just do not care if I have plans or not.
I will not confirm nor deny my hope of getting it to work again.
Was he demiliing it for a display or the ship it home? I see a lot of them around here used as displays.
They are not really rusty. these are almost new trucks in a very dry climate. The are just torqued on there real good. That and I have been spoiled by air tools for quite a while. I wish I did not forget me camera in my office this morning. I am sure a photograph would clear this up.
I'll be back the the corect tools once I get them. A torch will not work because I need the nut ans stud that is holding me up. If I can get a 24MM wrench, I am sure I can get the leverage I need with the forks on the fork lift.
The breaker bar will not squeeze in there. I used it on the other nuts and it worked fine. A wrench will work but I do not have a 24MM and I doubt it would brake it anyway. It took a lot to break the other three with the breaker bar.
I have heard stories, but never seen it myself.
Well, not much today either. I just went out there to pull the brakes and get the information off the weapon. The brakes are kicking my butt. Being since I have never messed with AAM axles or these new brake assemblies I have to learn as I go. All...
