All of the single axle 6ton military trailers I have seen have this suspension setup, since the springs float on both ends (no eyes), the radius rods by design hold the axel in alignment.
However, I do see your point that the radius rods also prevent axle wrap.
Here's the tm for this converter dolly, the parts in question are called "radius rods", they hold the axle in alignment. I have the same axle and suspension under my m146 trailer.

Was asking if you added gear oil recently because if the diff was overfilled oil could run into the axle knuckles and leak out.
The oil level should be 1/2" below the differential fill hole.
In my last post I inserter a thread link, in that thread is mentioned the quarter trick but using two quarters not three.
You have turned up your fuel but probably too much, be careful.
And yes, your hh may be fine.
Here's a thread on bypassing the fdc and turning the fuel down after doing so.
But you could thin out your mix before bypassing the fdc to see if it changes anything.

Mine is and I've run filtered wmo of all different consistencies through mine without any Ill effect.
But it's best to run wmo mixed with gas or diesel 50/50, imo.
