Would the MX-6707/AS1729 be the correct antenna for a 70's Deuce.If so ,which radio would be correct also. This does not have to operate but I would like the correct equipment for the time period and vehicle. Thanks.
Was originally thinking about moving the intake duct to the firewall so you would recirculate cab air like a more modern vehicle. It would stand to reason that the air would be warmer ducted this way. But now since there is plenty of room under the glove box the whole heater assembly will fit...
Just started mine with the new muffler today and it sounds much better. Seems to be about 1/3 as loud as before or better.
Muffler install should be on your to do list.
Think I'll go out today and move my heater inside the cab, see how that does.
Autocar, great information. I bought a M353570 muffler (ordered a m070028 and I got a M353570) from Fleetpride. I suppose it is the old # and is dimensionally identical. Installed it last night with a new J pipe.I will get a larger piece of expanded metal and fab a new shield as soon as I figure...
