The M38A1 is just a darn good jeep. I have a 42 GPW, 51 M38, and 53 M38A1. I enjoy the comfort of the M38A1. The 38A1 was my first MV, got it 30 years ago and am still enjoying it, but picked up and M151A2 a year ago and could now be spoiled by that one.. Happy trails.

you won't have any trouble pulling that trailer with the pintle ball hitch set up. As has been said, watch for the height, tongue to height of your tow vehicle. Also you want a good adapter from your tow vehicle to the trailer or some tow lights. You can drop the trailer down about 4 to 6...
