    radiator cap pressure

On a search of the forum, I noticed that the duece radiator cap (for the multi) should be rated at 7-8 psi. I have two caps I received from memphis for the deuce, one is stamped with 8 the other 15. I've been using the 8psi one but occassionally get some dribble out of the overflow tube...

    Alternate spare tire stowage/mount suggestions?

I've thought about adding either a tool box or spare directly under the bed in back with a stock spare hanger. You could have the lowering "bolt" extend through the rear crossmember for easy access. Just a thought.

Putting the CBC in Bob D. Deuce

That is simply outstanding! Perfect fit. Joe, where'd you get the CBC? Is there something I could look for that was made for the M105 like that? I'd love to be able to put something like that in my bed. Thanks. Steve

    pooched upper radiator hose

Should I put a lower temp thermostat in? If so, anyone have a part number? The temp, even here in Florida at 95 degree ambient temperature never got above 165. I have a new radiator in it and the hose in question is "new" from Memphis. I'm worried that the engine rad fluid NEVER circulates...

    pooched upper radiator hose

After an extended drive, I notice that my upper radiator hose is a little pooched (expanded beyond its normal diameter (by about 1/2 inch). The gauge reads around 165 (never higher than that. Oil looks fine. Just seems like a lot of pressure in the system. New radiator, new hoses. Is this...

    M101 Trailer Title in Florida

RE: Title No title for the M101 trailer is required in Florida. I have one myself. Actually, none of my trailers (M101, M105, and two civy tandem axle trailers (7500lb and 12K lbs) required a title. All are tagged. You're good to go. Steve

    Deuce Fuel (used oil)

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Deuce Fuel (used oil) Silly question perhaps, but used oil contains heavy metals from bearing wear, etc. I guess those metals would be released through the exhaust if burned in the deuce. Would that be bad to breath? Heck, you're not even supposed to TOUCH used motor oil...

    question on fuel

Ken, A guy down here I know recommended I add a quart of auto transmission fluid to every tank. Does that help lubricate the injection pump? I thought it was kinda weird. Thanks

    Thanksgiving frugality

I'd thought about getting some nice steel to make a keeper behind the cab of my bobbed deuce. But, I just couldn't bring myself to wasting the money on the steel when I had the original wood keeper from the truck (I've also tried to acquire the wood sides and bows for an M105 with no luck)...
