To Winch or Not to Winch a No-Winch M35A2? Opinions

I like the warn winch better..... I'm buying truck with no winch, and plan on adding on a 15000 lbs or 18000 lbs winch after I bob it. I think the warn winches are probably more expensive then adding a factory winch but far less complicated and less to go wrong.

My Class V Receiver Hitch for M35A2

We use flux core on the frames we build, I find it runs very clean no spatter whatsoever just the slag you have to chop off, but it is much stronger then a bare wire

My Class V Receiver Hitch for M35A2

I have a lincoln 140 amp mig at home I swap back and forth between flux core and bare wire. I used a miller delta weld 450 amp welder at work with metal core wire. It's like flux core but instead of flux I the inside of wire it is a powder, and when you weld it runs like bare wire but is much...

My Class V Receiver Hitch for M35A2

Ok so I started my first project for my deuce before I pick it up in February. had a slow day at work today so I grabbed some scrap steel laying around and made a class V hitch. Took 1/4" steel plate and bent it in the press, then cut it into 4 individual pieces on the bandsaw. I then took a...

Hydraulic Assit Steering- Another Idea Never Attempted

So what you are saying is you could use a f-350 or Chevy or dodge 3500 steering box asking as it could be tapped for ram assist? If this is possibly that would hugely open up available boxes for use on the deuce. Even having a spring set up why couldn't you use a steering setup like this. Heavy...

So what you are saying is you could use a f-350 or Chevy or dodge 3500 steering box asking as it could be tapped for ram assist? If this is possibly that would hugely open up available boxes for use on the deuce. I'm out to dinner with my wife right now but I have some leads on other boxes...

    Power Steering Possibility?

Idk for what I can get a torque generator for and make my own hoses I'm gonna try it. Pump will be used again if the torque generator doesn't work out.

    Power Steering Possibility?

That's another thing ones I did find for reasonable price for $400 to $500 they wanted a core and a core charge was $500 i am looking at a torque generator now that has a power assist output which gives you a option to run auxiliary hydraulics, but that would almost defeat the purpose of the...

    Power Steering Possibility?

I'm not saying that all.... But spending $2500 to $3000 for a power steering system is rediculous. Let's face it that's another truck.... I'm not really looking for the garrison setup is rather a saginaw box or a ross box but like I said I can't find one..... Some help this site is when...

    Power Steering Possibility?

The other problem I see with using a steering box such as ross or saginaw is now your modifying drag links and pitman arms which adds to more cost on top of the box and hoses and pump
