Small diesels engines do not last as long as big engines the reason being is the amount of RPM's they turn. Small engines turn as much as there gas counterparts while big truck engines on average only turn 2100-2600 RPM's
Dave is right I also have noticed that the light plays a importance part as to how the color looks. When I have mine parked inside and under the florescent lights it looks darker than when parked in sun light.

You are correct The truck is not a drop-side I am using The drop side bows be cause they were giving and I don't look no gift horse in the mouth. I fabed the brackets so I could keep all things together.

I got my battery's from Interstate also they were new blems $35.00 each. I also picked up a re-built starter at MVPA convention auction it was one of the last items offered for $12.00 I got lucky also got a brake booster for $15.00
I still like it the way it is Brown or no brown With all the computer matching and mixing today they still cant make 2 gallons of paint exactly the same color. It all comes down to a matter of choice,
Armanda.... Nice M1009 Some of the guys in the club have differnt shades pf OD but i like the 24087 The best. I painted the Jeep 3 years ago and it has held up well.

The are not wet liners I replaced one in my truck wet liners have sealing O rings on them and the one I replaced did not. the way to tell is when you have the engine apart after you pull the liner out the water passage is continual.
I have one just like that. It has some adaptors on the end fit right on the bumper eyes. We used it to pull my truck home worked great little heavy for one person but you wont brake it. I will take some photos of the adaptors and post them.
With the price of lead now days they will probaby Re-cycle them. I know that the 6 volt junk batterys out of my golf cars jump from $3.00 each to $9.00 in 2 months. I just re-cycled 275 6 volt cores.
I would not try and pull it, try using a brake over bar and maybe a cheater pipe. The reason for not pulling it is that the injectors may look big around but the actual hole into the cylinder is very small. If there is fuel water, or oil in the cylinders it would not be able to be displaced fast...
