Well, it looks like the search for new 1100R20s has gotten even smaller. It seems that Firestone DISCONTINUED the T831 as of January of this year. Guess that means that if you want a new one, and find one, Grab It! Looks like the only thing out there now is the Goodyear G177...:-|
Why even try and figure it out...I'm also pretty sure some did NOT pay just the minimum...If this is what it takes to get the site back on track, I'm sure no one minds how much $ is generated.
2cents2cents Yup, 4 cents there, you know, inflation
I had one truck that came with a shim, put a new starter in with the shim and it barely ingauged, chewing up the flywheel. From then on, all the starters I put in on other trucks were placed with no shims, even if the old starter had one. Just have to check each one you put in.
I have looked high and low for 1100x20 sized tires and have only come up with two that are currently being manufactured. Or, should I say, listed on the manufacturer website and can get from a commercial tire shop. One being the Firestone T831 and the other being a Goodyear G177.
Does Michelin...
Yes they are air hogs!!
I have this setup on my deuce. I hook it up to the compressor at home and gladhand it when I am not near a electric compressor. It does take a while to fill and you aren't gonna move fast, but it beats wrenching by hand.
I have all sitting in a cargo box in the back of...
2 10ton jacks and jack stands.
Might want to go by HF and pick up a 1" Impact with the socket set. Along with that get you hoses to go from your compressor to a 12 gallon air tank and 1/2 hose and fittings from there to the gun...that should give you enough reserve air and volume (1/2") to run...
I looked all through this site and google, and, and, and... That's why I posted this thread. It seems everyone wanted to test units side by side, but no one did (that I can find). Also have not seen the pros and cons of the above mentioned centrifuges from someone who has had a unit for a while.

You can get the base from NAPA or find one from WIX online. You will need to find the fittings for the fuel lines. It should not be too hard in a 'proper' hardware store, or you can get the kit at jatonkas
If...
You might have done that but I can tell you from experience that at 55mph it SOUNDED like mine wanted to come through the hood! And she did NOT want to go any faster!
Look for Dana 60s with 3.73s or 4.10s...or a 700r4
Agreed. [thumbzup][thumbzup][thumbzup]
However, I also think that he needs to know what is going on (or not). How about using this thread to make note of what is and is not working? If another thread opens up, lock it, and refer it to this thread??? Yes/No???
Thanks for that link Dale. I found it earlier and that's why I posted...I just hope they do not get rid of the EOM style stuff and go ghetto with their rims...
