Hello, sorry if this has already been gone over, but I'm looking
for the thread size/pitch of the threads on the top of the spring
on a MX-6707.
Thanks

Just learned of the existence of a cool little RTTY machine, the UGC-74.
Looks to be a good compact size for MV installation and playing with ham radio RTTY.
Anybody have experience with one? Pros? Cons? Words of wisdom to a possible buyer?
Spec I saw says it needs both 28vdc and 115vac. Is...
Just curious, but could this teletype machine be utilitez with a modern HF ham radio?
Thinking it would be cool to be able to send/receive text over teletype using HF
You might try CHIRP. It's a free downloadable programming software. I suspect you would select one of the Baofeng radios in the program, as the TRI radios appear to use the same or similar chipset.
I've got a VIC-1 system setup in my vehicle. I only use it for intercom, but have a civilian CB radio's
audio connected into the "AUDIO INPUT" wire terminals. No MIL radios installed.
I can listen to the CB while wearing headsets, but must still use the hand mic to transmit.
I've also got an...

I have an AM-1780 main unit that will not power up.
I took back cover off and found two caps blown, and am hoping if I replace them, I can get it working again.
The two caps are on J501 (upper.right side)
I'm hoping someone can look at a good unit or a schematic they have and tell me the...
I found a relay today at a local electronics parts place. It's an NTE R04-11D30-24. A lot heavier duty than I probably need, but that's okay with me.
Now I just need to find a 24v battery isolator...
I was in the market for a Tractel (tirfor) GripHoist, and then I learn that J.E.T. makes the same type of tool. Does anybody have experience with the JET brand? Are the JETs just re-branded Tractels? Any difference in reliability or build quality between the two? I appreciate any feedback...
