I used calipers from a 1979 k20 .they worked perfect. Front calipers from a k30 will not work

A 700r4 swap requires changing alot more than just the tranny - not a cheap swap either . 4l80e or the gear vendor overdrive is your best bet

They make it to fit on the back of the t case. I have never seen one between the the tranny and t case - wouldnt make sense
