Finally had a weekend to do a bit of work, and discovery that I'd mis-ordered some of the lines / fittings.
Got the selector valve mounted, and most of the lines run. Just missing the one to the winch valve, and a fitting to connect the one from the pump.
It's not like when something goes stupid at a live auction the auctioneer doesn't do something to try and correct it, at times opening the bidding back up. But they hate it and it makes them look bad.
Of course, the response to "I was trying to bid and you guys weren't seeing me." has been...
They had some issues with some "events" today. They extended them. I got an email.
I imagine this is in response to the last time they had a week of servers all crashing 15 minutes before most auctions ended, and the people who realized that was going to happen winning easily because they bid...
The union of stupid amounts of tech money, interested in surplus trucks and willing to take the government auction risk is a pretty small set. The folks willing to spend the stupid amounts of money also want a turn key solution, or want a cheap project.
The dude with that tow bar is stuck. He paid that for it in a bidding frenzy. (He may actually be in the hole @ current price). It's was on CL still today.
He made it way easier for me to sell the NOS ones I had, though.
So, no better than GL with them...
Someone will be along soon to tell the horror story of shipping a dozen tires from GL to find they all were sidewall blowouts.
