Alright, this is a close for me. I will start my trailer recovery thread tomorrow.
Started hearing a squealing sound from the trailer and thought the worst. Luckily it was only 10 miles from the house so I went for it. Got out and checked the temps on the hubs. Left rear was 103, rest were in...
I am still sorry. Didn't expect it to happen. I do still blame the wife though. Lol
I tried to see if my dashcam still had it but it already looped. It would have been a funny clip
No secured properly. When I was backing up I jack knifed the trailer to much and it pushed the shelter further forward and caused the headache rack to contact the window.
Alright, just got with crawdaddy, picking up the bed Friday afternoon hopefully.
I'll put the shelter inside the bed, strap it all down and head to Garrett's.
Hope the wrecker works Garrett, gonna need it.
Jeep, are you planing on making any trips east anytime soon? I can bring it your way with the shelter.
If I had known I was going to end up picking up the trailer I would have gotten the bed to tag along to Drew's.
+1 on the removal that is the hardest. That's why when I finally got the tool box off and the valve out with the little hoses still attached I ditched replacing the o rings and headed to Home Depot and got two tees for a more long term solution.
I will strongly suggest you get in writing from your insurance company they will cover your cargo if you don't have commercial insurance with the cargo endorsement. Just because they tell you on the phone you are covered doesn't mean you are. Fighting with mine right now because of this.
