Mark if your talking about the phillips head screws in the bed, midwest military stocks them. I found a stainless steel version at: http://www.mrgusa.com/pdfs/144-145truss.pdf. Its part # fa2628h. After fighting every rusted bolt and nut, I replaced what I could with stainless. The square lock...
If the guy would have pulled it off, he probably would have been considered a hero in the warbird community. Nobody would have heard of the shortcuts. Fate is such a cruel thing.
It was at the Midland co fairgrounds. Same time as the antique flea market. I believe its may 31st. Well atleast it was last year. Its listed on Great Lakes MPVA website.
The joy of neighbors, as they are the root of all evils. Last fall I had my dump at our "up north cabin" to put some sand on the beach(really swamp). I could only get sand during the week as it was off season and the gravel pit was only open during the week. My neighbor, who I hardly ever see...

passenger capacity?

Whats the purpose of the bolt under the accelerator pedal? Is it just to stop the soldiers heavy foot or did the linkage get stuck when the gas pedal was floored?
What is the reason for the sewn on leather patch on the lower right side of the winter cover? Is it a wear point, perhaps with the winch? My truck is 150 miles away so I can't compare. And its a non- winch anyways.
check out the old posts at the other m37 forum http://www.g741.org/PHPBB/ and the ugly duckling web site. Crs has taken hold right now and I can't remember the owners name but he does the disc brake kits for the m37's. He reciently moved out of the country but will be back in business making...
Florida Rally
Ok its allmost friday and no pictures yet of the rally. Come-on post some for those of us who couldn't make it this year. I know its early and probably dark down there in warm Florida but take pity on those of us in the bleak and frozen north snow covered end of the country. We...
What a shame. Looks like it settled down on the frame in the firewall/cowl area. Did the roof rust away or somebodys idea of starting rust repair. If you have to leave this model outside, the roof better be tarped or this will be the result. The m43 is a rust magnet that starts in the roof...
