Mine were leaking from the top nut even after tightening to the proper torque. After cleaning and de-burring the can and underside of the bolt they have stopped. But I couldn't find the hard fiber washer thats under the bolt head. Why isn't this supplied with the filters?

You may also want to check the ignition system. It may work fine when cold, but hot spark may be weak. Check coil and condenser

Make sure the surface the seal rides on is smooth and grooveless. I don't know if redi-sleeve makes one to fit here but somebody should know. Larry Sage
