    Smart phone app

I disagree with the stated premise. By the same logic, I guess you should not carry any tools around with you for a roadside repair, since repairs are supposed to be done in shops. The name of the game is mobility. Internet does not equal a laptop/deskitop computer. It equals availability...

    Smart phone app

I am not familiar with that. I do know that other forums that use the same software as SS sell apps, and they work pretty good (easy access to subscribed threads, for example). Is iTap a generic forum app?

    Smart phone app

It sure would be nice to have a smart phone app that connects to the SS forum. iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry - whatever. I know that some other forums that use the same forum software have iPhone/iPad capability. One I know of provided it free (I think, maybe it was .99) and the other...

    Bed crane designs...

Heath, it can be done. I have seen custom motorcycle tlifts like this and they sure are $$$$. There are two altenatives for one of these. Alternative 1 has the frame mounting inside the bed of the Deuce, kind of like the first illustration posted in this thread. Alternative B is to create an...

'51 M37 rear mail oil seal replacement

It's called a Sneaky Pete, a tool to install the upper rear main rope seal with the crank in place. The tool is a length of flexible steel cable with a t handle at one end and a small corkscrew on the other. To remove the old upper rope seal, you thread the cork screw into one end of the seal...

'51 M37 rear mail oil seal replacement

Pull the rear cap but you do not need to drop the crank. The old seal will roll out exactly as described. Anyway, you cannot get the crank to hang unless you pull the tranny as it will be hanging on the pilot bushing/input shaft. Yes, you can pick up a few thousandths this way but it is not...

    M35A2 Crew cab w/ tandems

What happened to the neighbor? Did he happen to fall into a bush hogger? I guess this is one time when 'ran when parked' actually came true.

M105 Recovery- Great day for getting pulled over

A soda blaster will take the paint off the tires without hurting the rubber, and is gentle enough to not kill the paint on the wheels if you 'oops' a bit. Edit: just saw you are already considering a soda blaster. The little HF unit will do it.

Trailer Tow Lights - HF Sale $11.99

I've got a set of them - believe it or not the same lights were bundled in with a tow bar I bought from Amazon. It's the tow bar I recenlty used to tow my OT Jeep behind my Deuce when I put it (the Deuce) away for the winter. The lights were wired properly and yes the magnets are on the weak...

    Ryno-paint

I'd imagine that you would be hosed if you ever had to remove a fastener.

    m35a2 fuel mileage

I believe that the two stroke oil helps with IP lubrication to offset the (poor) lubricity of ULSD.
