Mine are surface mount also.

I looked at mine and it don't look like it was a straight swap,they had to hack out some of the i beam to get the new lights to fit and welded a plate over the old hole on the r side,then re drilled.

Spent some time today working on getting some of the interior back together,notice the data plates,they had heavy overspray on them before i used paint and varnish remover in a can on them,they cleaned up nicely with no damage to the original finish,also notice the m275 data plate that Recovery...

Cut 12" off the back of the frame and put the rear cross member back in.

I'm in the process of painting my deuce road tractor with bher 383 carc substitute,looks good!

I have this setup too, the last can holder like this i seen, went for over a hundred dollars on ebay. The straps work well also.
