It stalls your 1hp motor? What rpm rating is your motor? Is your preasure relief valve functional? What filter configuration are you using? Sorry for asking so many questions but I'm about to build a preasureized filter setup using some large spin on filters with the sbc pump and a 1/3 hp 1040...

ok, seeing this thread prompted me to build one. i threaded the barbs in and can use the pressure relife feature on the pump and use a supply handle if needed or in case a filter gets cloged. with the 600 rpm drill i get about 4.5 gpm,not enough for recovery transfer. im looking into a 1040rpm...
